Dragons...A Novel Creation, Or A Genetic Mistake?
Biomancy, like any other field of magic on the Continents has long had its eccentrics and oddballs. Many mages who specialize in this area are always pushing the limits of what can and cannot be done with biology or plants and animals, often with no long-term goal other than as a hobby. A controversial creation has been that of “dragons”. These are not based on the three unrelated animals that are colloquially called “dragons” as found on the Continents, but the actual attempts by some biomancers to actually create something akin to a dragon as is seen in folktales and mythology through bio-engineering, often just to see if it could be done in the first place. The first attempts seemed to have come from Buuj University in Fiieb. A small group of students and scholars had formed a club dedicated to making genetic chimeras out of combining the traits of various simple animals and plants. While officially frowned upon by university administrators, they continued their pastime under
Magic is a phenomenon in the Continents that has various rules and natural laws just as much as any other natural occurance. While any sapient creature can learn to harness and use magic, the process of learning to do so is a long and ardous task. This is why that although mages and magic users are very common on the Continents, there is a huge difference between the cantrips and minor tricks of the amateur and an advanced mage. There are countless cultures and societies on the Continents, and as a result, there are many different theories as to what magic is and how to use it. However, magic can be broadly defined by two categories; personal magic, and divine magic. The difference is that personal magic is done by mortal spellcasters who draw from their own skills or abilities, while divine magic comes from a deity or is channeled from one by a follower. Personal Magic A lot of places cast personal magic using specific words, drawing symbols, using gestures, wands, staves, etc. but
Faern (Homo avis) Intelligence: Sapient Size: 0.74-1.2 kg. (Females) 0.9-1.8 kg. (Males) Height: 31-36 cm (Females) 33-40 cm (Males) Introduction The faern are a race of small humanoid creatures that are clearly artificial in origin as they are an intentional product of biomancy on the part of a dead god who's name has long been lost in obscurity. Based on interviews with the few remaining faern that have some knowledge of their cultural history, they were originally intended to be used as couriers and messengers, and their small size and high degree of dexterity made them useful for intelligence-gathering purposes as they made excellent spies. Anatomy and Physiology The faern resemble diminutive humanoids in appearance with similar ranges of hair, eye color and skin tone. However, their most striking feature is a pair of dorsally-attached wings resembling frilled membranes that run from the cervical region of the spine to the lumbar region. The supporting rays of the wings

Tyrannopolis (Fictional Amusement Park)
I originally intended to post this as a journal entry, but I have decided to make it a submission in its own right. So, I have been mulling over this for awhile, and if I had the money, I would put together a fictional theme park with a tongue-in-cheek dark humor theme of dictators and despots throughout world history. I realize that what qualifies as a dictator is rather subjective, however, I think it is safe to say that there are some historical figures that are almost universally agreed upon to be utter tyrants. So without further ado, let us take a look at the amusement park, Tyrannopolis! The mascot for Tyrannopolis would be the Groovy Generalissimo. He would be a cartoonish, tall, lanky man seemingly in his 20's or 30's, with a pair of round, John Lennon-style sunglasses, a long, brown shaggy beard, and brown long hair underneath a "commissar" style hat. His uniform consists of a forest green coat and trousers with a white stripe down the outer edge of the legs and his jacket

So, I have decided to try starting a fundraiser to gather enough funds in order to get Transcendence developed. The story is basically finished and has been for years, just that I do not know anything about programming other than Javascript here and there and I do not want to give up on the Transcendences project. As I cannot afford to hire a development team at the moment, I have decided to launch a Gofundme campaign to try and gather enough donations to get the game off of the ground. It is a small donation goal for now, as I am just testing the waters, but I hope that I can turn this into reality. If anybody has any questions or ideas, feel free to mention them below, and while I have set up a Discord server for it already, a Facebook page will be on its way soon as well. So, I am sure that a lot of people out there, including myself have a lot of games series that they would like to see further installments of but have just been shelved for whatever reason. I am thinking about making a regular journal series about ideas I have for future titles in games that have long since ended. To start with, let us take a look at the Overlord series by Triumph Studios. Overlord is an interesting game that is a cross between a strategy game an a third person combat game. You play as an armored Sauron-inspired evil knight who commands an army of minions to attack enemies and interact with objects while you can attack enemies directly with your weapon and spells in addition to casting support spells. The point of the game is to use your minions to become ruler of a saccharine Tolkienesque fantasy world filled with oafish peasants, bizarre monsters, alchoholic dwarfs and obnoxious elves. Overlord II is much the same way. Both games have four subspecies of minion to
